The idea behind this project was to create a kit of individual components that could be added independently to a main module to build a robot in a few clicks.
Having a phone or tablet as the body gives the robot additional capabilities such as text-to-speech, voice recognition, camera access or wifi connectivity at no extra cost, since most of us already carry one around.
